Bill Pomeroy and the Coe Family Research

Bill Pomeroy, a descendant of Mary Ann Coe and Spencer Pomeroy, through their son Francis W. Pomeroy, is the founder and CEO of CXtec, in Syracuse, NY. Bill grew up in a family full of home-grown genealogists. Bill’s initial interest in his Pomeroy and Coe genealogy has turned into a labor of love, for both genealogy and local history.  Bill now has a department of 2 full-time and 11 part-time employees whose main focus is his genealogical and local history interests.

Project Roots

Project Roots is the department in CXtec that houses the CXtec company archives and helps Bill Pomeroy with his local history projects and genealogical resesarch.  Project Roots is currently working on the Mary Ann Coe Project with the hopes of someday publishing their research.

Spearheading the project are:

The following part-time researchers have been enlisted to aid us in this monumental task: Betty Banta, Alethea Connolly, Susan Miller, Judy Smith, Alena Tyler, Pat Whipple, Rick Porter, Barbara Dix and Ed Miller.   Emeritus Researchers include Katherine Werbeck, Allison Stevens, Dave Karn, Tammy Chadwick, Cindy Drage and Glenda Yaksich.  Our hats off to this group!
